Janna Friedman Music School provides professional music and art education in Baltimore area (Pikesville, Owings Mills, Reisterstown, Baltimore County), encourages music and art appreciation, and promotes public performances of students and professionals.

J.Friedman Music School (previously known as Baltimore Music School), was founded in 1996 by prominent teacher Janna Friedman, who prior taught at the Peabody Preparatory School for 17 years. School director - Alexandra Suhoy, pianist, teacher, and composer, has been teaching in the School since its establishement. Highly qualified teachers with extensive experience from famous institutions of United States and Europe base their teaching on the best traditions and principles. The School goals are to teach students to play an instrument, to build a diversified music and art education, to develop strong performance skills, and to instill love for music and art. Our students have won the American Fine Arts, Music-Fest Rising Talents, and other competitions, and performed at the Carnegie Hall in NY. Many JFMS graduates pursued professional music careers and received full scholarships at prestigious institutions.
